Mini Crane Selection: Load, Reach and Installation
Select the required lifting duty before selecting a crane type. Workshop access and rooftop installation create different purchasing requirements.
Information to prepare
Provide the load weight, pickup and landing positions, required reach and lifting height. Include the route used to move the crane into position and the space around its supports.
How to compare quotations
Compare capacity at the required boom position, not only the largest advertised capacity. Separate rotation, boom extension and vertical hook travel when describing the movement you need.
What still needs confirmation
Portability does not establish the suitability of a roof or floor. Request the exact mounting arrangement and model load chart. Loaded travel must not be assumed from the presence of wheels.
