A separate role from the normal drive
The SAJ series provides progressive anti-fall braking for a compatible construction hoist arrangement. The pinion-driven mechanism responds to the specified overspeed condition, and the cone-based braking assembly acts progressively. It is a protective device, not the normal lifting motor or service control. The selected model and its documented limits determine its application.
Match more than the model label
The current series page keeps 13 variants together for comparison. Select using the hoist specification, rated loading information, calibrated tripping speed, pinion interface and mounting dimensions. Similar appearance or a partly matching model code does not establish interchangeability. Provide the existing nameplate, photographs and available equipment documents so the proposed replacement can be checked.
Documentation and action after activation
Request the documentation applicable to the exact device and hoist. Inspection, testing and any work following activation must follow the manufacturer procedure and be handled by competent personnel. This article is not a calibration, reset or installation guide. Do not adjust the device from a general online description or substitute an unverified model to match a desired capacity.
