Scissor Lift Selection: Height, Access and Mobility
Electric, mobile and self-propelled describe different aspects of a lift. Check the actual model rather than treating these names as separate performance ratings.
Information to prepare
Record the work position, doorway width, overhead clearance and total platform load. Identify indoor or outdoor use and the floor conditions along the access route.
How to compare quotations
Request platform height and working height as separate figures. Compare transport dimensions, machine weight and relocation method alongside height; a tall machine that cannot reach the work area is not a suitable choice.
What still needs confirmation
Confirm the selected model sheet before ordering. Electric power alone does not establish outdoor suitability, allowable slope or permission to travel while elevated.
