How to Select Temporary Suspended Platforms
Start with the required platform load and usable length. The rated load must cover workers, tools and materials without exceeding the equipment limit. Next, confirm the operating height and order working ropes, safety ropes and electric cable with sufficient allowance.
Roof conditions determine the suspension solution. Standard beams may work on an open flat roof, while parapet clamps or a custom arrangement may be needed where beam installation is restricted. Provide roof photographs, parapet dimensions and available anchoring information before production.
Power requirements should be confirmed early. Temporary suspended platforms can be configured for different voltages and frequencies, but the control box, hoists and site supply must match. The buyer should also confirm plug type, cable standard and any local electrical requirements.
Inspection and Maintenance
Before every shift, inspect wire ropes for broken strands, flattening or corrosion. Check that safety locks move freely, hoists stop correctly, electrical cables are undamaged and all platform fasteners are secure. The suspension beams and counterweights must remain in their approved positions.
