Main System Components

  • Modular steel or aluminum working platform
  • Electric hoists with service brakes
  • Automatic safety locks
  • Separate working and safety wire ropes
  • Electric control box with emergency stop

Suspended Working Platform Products

The following products cover standard, temporary, window-cleaning and custom configurations.

Applications

  • High-rise facade construction and cladding installation
  • Window cleaning and glass inspection
  • Exterior wall painting, waterproofing and repair
  • Curtain wall installation and sealant replacement
  • Inspection of tanks, chimneys and industrial structures
  • Bridge maintenance where the support design is suitable

For a standard 630 kg unit, see the ZLP630 electric platform. Cleaning contractors can compare the window cleaning ZLP630 platform.

Roof and Site Information

Provide roof photographs, parapet dimensions, working height and facade width before ordering. Standard suspension beams suit many flat roofs. Parapet clamps or engineered supports may be considered when normal beam placement is restricted.

Wire ropes, safety ropes and electric cable should cover the full operating height with a suitable allowance. Hoists and the control box must match the site voltage and frequency.

Safety and Inspection

The suspended working platform must be assembled and operated by trained personnel. Before each shift, inspect roof supports, counterweights, platform joints, hoist brakes, safety locks, wire ropes, electric cables, emergency stop and limit switches.

O OSHA scaffold requirements provide a reference for suspended scaffold safety in the United States. Local regulations, wind restrictions, personal fall protection and rescue planning must also be followed.

Maintenance and Spare Parts

Keep hoists, safety locks and control boxes clean and dry during storage. Remove damaged wire ropes and electrical cables from service. Common replacement parts include contactors, control buttons, limit switches, rope guides and hoist wear components.

See the peças de reposição para plataformas suspensas page for component support.
