Family options are not a guarantee that every combination is available. Confirm the exact configuration in the quotation.

Original functional diagram, not to scale. It explains relationships only; it is not a dimensioned drawing, installation instruction or tested product configuration.

Can a matching SAJ family label prove interchangeability?

No. Confirm the full device identification, mounting, pinion interface and calibrated tripping data against the hoist documentation. The device is separate from normal drive and service braking. A similar family label or appearance cannot justify substitution, recalibration or reset after activation.

Illustrative comparison — not a customer case

Illustrative selection example: two devices with similar family markings can have different interfaces or calibration records. Compare the exact nameplates and hoist documents before proposing replacement. This scenario does not identify an interchangeable part or authorize testing, adjustment or reset.

Documents to request — availability to be confirmed

Request exact device identification, mounting and pinion details, calibrated tripping data and the applicable inspection or test documentation. Compare these with the hoist records. Any manufacturer-specific replacement or post-activation procedure must be followed by competent personnel; a catalogue description is not that procedure.
